Since its founding in 1917, the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home has been locally owned and operated so as to provide the highest level of compassion and understanding at one of life's most difficult times. In business for 90 years, it is the oldest funeral home in Quincy with a long history of providing families with caring, trusted services and comfortable facilities.

Dennis, like his father and grand uncle before him, has maintained a strong commitment to continuing education and innovation. In his 35 years of planning and arranging funeral services and cremations, he's developed a reputation of integrity and dependability. His involvement in the community is evident in the sponsorship of numerous youth sports teams, special events and charitable organizations in the Quincy area, including St. Joseph Holy Name Society, 1000 Southern Artery monthly dinners, Ward II Civic Association as Past President, and the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days campaign for which more than $800,000.00 was raised over the years. He's been a long time member of the National Funeral Directors Association.
